Geo Acoustics – GeoPulse LF 101

GeoPulse LF 101 is a low voltage boomer for safe and economic marine seismic survey.

GeoPulse LF 101 is a low voltage boomer system developed as a safe and economic solution for marine seismic survey. Building on a field-proven technology platform, the system retains the functionality of traditional boomers while introducing key updates and delivering sector leading data quality.

With an underwater capacitor and energy source output below 1000 V, it is significantly safer than conventional systems running at up to 4000 V. The compact 11 kg energy source, 2 kVA mains input and light weight cable support efficient mob and de-mob and are small vessel friendly.

GeoPulse LF 101 is a 100/50 Joules system, producing up to 6 pulses per second. This achieves an optimal balance between resolution and water depth for high-precision shallow-water engineering surveys. A 200 Joules variant is in development and expected to be available during Q2 2026.
